Welcome to YMSL Crystal Springs Chapter!

YMSL National

Young Men's Service League is a non-profit organization that initiates and encourages young men and their mothers to pursue philanthropic involvement in their community and provides an opportunity to enhance mother/son relationships.

YMSL was founded by Pam and Julie Rosener who envisioned an organization that would allow mothers and their high school aged sons to work together in support of those in need within the community. They recruited other interested mothers who shared their vision and turned that dream into the reality that is now YMSL.  The initial YMSL chapter is in Plano, Texas, where Pam and Julie worked with other mothers and sons to create a highly successful philanthropic and developmental organization for young men and their mothers. YMSL is celebrating 15 years of service this year!

There are now 75 YMSL Chapters in 11 states (and growing!) that allow young men and their mothers to assist, serve, and support those who are in need in their communities. YMSL completed over 1,000,000 hours of community service to date.

YMSL Crystal Springs Chapter

Launched in March 2014, YMSL Crystal Springs is the 3rd YMSL chapter in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Our members are from the Peninsula between Burlingame and Redwood City.

YMSL Crystal Springs will focus on providing high school boys with the opportunities to volunteer in our community alongside their mothers, improve their leadership skills, and develop new life skills. In addition to philanthropy work, boys attend six meetings a year with their grade level. Meetings are used to expand their knowledge and experience in a variety of topics such as career choice, cooking, budgeting, civics, and more. Since the boys plan and implement their own meetings, each one holds a position of responsibility.
